Born and raised Baptist in Colorado. Severe car accident just before graduation caused me to reevaluate my life. After a 'born again' experience I joined a Jesus people tent crusade and worked with them for about 14 years, in the U.S.,Italy, and the Philippines. Then taught in a rural bible college(Philippines)for 5 years. While there I wrote a column for a weekly paper. Now back in the states am active in a political party, am a member of two churches, an inter-faith prayer group, and am far more 'liberal' than in my younger years.
