I am 76 year old retired Navy man who likes to write song lyrics and poems. Some of them are from my life experiences, but most of them are purely from my imagination. Usually I write about pretty down to earth things, but sometimes I let my imagination travel into the Twilight Zone or Outer Space. I don't play any musical instruments except a radio and a CD player, so am looking for someone to help me write some music for my lyrics so I can get them recorded. I was raised on a ranch in western South Dakota, so cowboy and western songs are dear to my heart. I got into the Navy during WWII and decided to make a 30 year career of it. It wasn't just a job, it really was an adventure, and as a Master Chief Photographer's Mate I got to see and photograph a good portion of this old world on the land, sea and from the air. I was married to the same good woman for over 45 years, until I lost her to lung cancer four years ago, and I really miss her.
