I am 47, born in a small town of Avalon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have raised 4 beautiful children alone since my husband's death over 19 years ago. Many times I hid myself in my room and wrote my poetry. Always my poems would reflect my personal feelings. I have just recently started to let people read them. I feel no matter what kind of poetry you write, poems are a reflection of your inner self. I am now writing childrens' books and would appreciate help in finding a publisher. The books are based on true life situations. The books include original artwork depicting the main unusal characters. All the stories have a moral to them.
