Finally fixed my email, PTL, so I'm back in business--finally!
Grew up in Maine till age 13, not far from Stephen King.
He was born in 46, 4 years before me.
I lived in the little town of Liberty;
Steve lived in the little town of Durham.
Check your map. Or perhaps your electronic device.
Left Maine with my family in 63, age 13.
Spent most of my life in Colorado.
Wanna go back!
Family matters have me in New Jersey for the time being.
Good friends here, but not my first choice of where to live.
On the other hand, fell in love with Canada while I was there. Like another home now.
Married 44 yrs. to same girl, met her while in the Army. (45 yrs. May 22!)
Love stories of ships and the sea (childhood on coast of Maine contributes to that.)
I'm a big fan of the late M.Z. Bradley's wonderful DARKOVER series.
Also enjoy good poetry when I can find it. Lots of it around but one has to dig for it.
Garrison Keillor (sp?) put out several really good anthologies a few years ago.
If you can find them they're most definitely worth the read.
Haven't done much writing lately, health problems and weird medications--
but I'm back on track a bit these past six weeks or so. Feels good!
Fifteen years here on the east coast and I'm still homesick.
I really want to go back home to the Colorado mountains while I can still enjoy them.
Will it happen? We'll see.
At the moment (5/25/16) health problems driving me down again.
Can hardly walk anymore, let alone type--
But I will keep it up as long as I can, I get such pleasure from writing.
Though, of a truth, I really would like to hear from more of you more often.
I mean, I check my list--lots of hits, almost no comments.
Just a sentence or two or three? Some of you?
There! I knew you could do it!
Thanks ever so much.
