I spent many years as a reporter/photographer for small community newspapers in British Columbia.
When my husband succumbed to dementia, I spent two years as a caregiver -- this is when I began writing poetry. It was a sad yet peaceful period in my life.
After I lost him in June, 2000, I moved to Alberta to live with my daughter.
In the late fall of 2001, their sudden decision to move to Yellowknife, NWT, sent me scurrying back to BC.
March 28/02:
Well, I guess I'm committed for six months now (I use the word "committed" loosely!).
I appreciate the quality of work here, and I've completed major renovations to my websites, so I can concentrate on writing again.
I'm also immersed in graphics for web pages, and if anyone would like a background made, just email me, and Ill see what I can do. I don't make the fancy "add-ons", but simple nature backgrounds that work well (I think) for poetry pages.
This internet life is wonderful!
