Over-the-hill curmudgeon/old fart.

I've nominated myself for the Nobel Prize in Literature the last four years running. Judging from the lack of response from the nice folks in Oslo, I can only draw the conclusion that my approach lacks merit. Therefore, due to my family's demands that they be provided with sustenance and housing, I'm forced to continue my daily commute to and from gainful employment.

But, hope springs eternal. Who knows? This might be my year... if not, I guess I'll just have to get rich like everyone else-- I'll buy a lottery ticket.

Life is short, get over yourself.
