Born Dec1919,small country village in Mid Wales.Used the Cup and Saucer tree,as a haven of peace,place of safety,both mentally and physically,in peace and war. Joined the military in 1938 - The Welsh Guards. Served through Dunkirk and Normandy. Total military service 8yrs and 88days. A relative newcomer to writing, started by accident,enlisting at College for a course on short story writing,which got cancelled, so switched to one on Poetry and got hooked. Married in 1941 and we are still together. Have one book published The Cup and Saucer Tree. Also, about 60 poems published in, Longfellow Chronicles, Anchor Books,Sycamore House,Poetry Now, United Press,Byword, Staple,I.D.Books,Triumph House. Tides of the Heart, the best of P-n-P Also on local Radio.and B.B.C.4. Favourite Poets people like war poet Wilfred Owen, and modern ones like David Taub and K.T. Frankovich. Favourite books at the Moment: Language of Souls, Where Heavens Meet by the above authors, Tides of the Heart, the best of P-n-P.
