For years, my most important jobs were being wife and mother.Since our only son was home schooled, the role of teacher was mine as well.I was single for a time, divorced from my son's father after 20 years.

Now I'm remarried and living in Ohio.Frankly, after having lived in Florida and Texas, getting used to winter again has been quite an experience.

I've been a writer and a poet since I was ten years old.Even then, I would steal away to some quiet place with my journal and a sketch pad to write and draw pictures to go with my stories.I cultivated my love of art, but I have continued writing, and began sharing my stories and poems again a few years ago.What a delight it was to have them accepted and sometimes praised.

I once worked for a daily newspaper as Community News Editor.I published a newsletter - Creatively Thrifty.

I write both for pleasure and for a living.I have appeared as guest columnist in a daily and weeklynewspapers.

My articles have been included on web sites about parenting, home schooling, crafting.And I've been published in a Christian magazine in Austrailia and in a regional magazine in Florida.
