I guess I've been writing most of my life (letters, reports, articles, etc), but in June 2000 I discovered the internet and got 'bit'. I find expressing my remembrances, feelings, thoughts, and opinions in poetry and prose to be very rewarding. I'm a stroke and quad-bypass survivor for over 7 years, but don't let that fool you...I'm still a kid at heart and very active with my friends, 7 cats, garden, and extended family. My infant son and husband are both deceased, but don't you dare feel sorry for me...I have great memories, and believe that life is meant to be lived to its fullest!
