My DH Richard Reed, Jr has inspired me to appreciate and enjoy poetry.I am truly amazed by the many wonderful entries on this site, and although I will begin here as a reader, I may eventually try writing.As a scientist(chemistry teacher for many years), I suppose I pull mainly from the left side of the brain (or is it the right?Never can remember).I do have an artsy side though - love interior design, like to play piano, love all things domestic such as knitting, cooking, and keeping a beautiful abode.As for writing, I've a long way to go.Have written many nursery rhymes but not much more. I am, however, a self-proclaimed expert on English grammar, so maybe there's hope. Richard and I married Feb 14, 2007 after a very long "engagement".I was widowed rather young, finished raising three fabulous kids, and now Richard and I are blessed with seven beautiful grandkids.
