As a teenager, I was naive and innocent until that innocence was ripped from me through date rape. This is my story. I hope it helps others see that it's a crime, it's not our fault, and rape doesn't make you dirty or bad. This story will share with you the fear and the thinking that went through the head of a 13 year old freshman in highschool as she lives through this ordeal.

I have received much feedback on this story, and I wish to thank each and every one of you who took the time to read this rather lengthy peice. I must say that although it's unfortunately a true story, it has given me a strength and a determination to go on and move forward, and in my stubborn refusal to let this world win in dragging me down as it has so many others... my willingness to share what happened is bolstered and hopefully it will help either prevent it from happening to another... or at least comfort someone who has experienced the same thing.

There are many that feel many more should read this, so I will feature it. If you have ANY thoughts/ideas/comments... I'd love to know what they are.
