Anyone can learn to crossstich.

Anyone can learn to crosstich.
I done it and I have crippled fingers and hands. I have no wrist movement. All I did was hold the crosstich material in my bad hand which my right hand, and crosstich with my left hand which I call my good hand. And just do it.

My friends taught me the basic and I looked at the patterns, and usally made up my own as I went.

I believe in using any threads, don't fence yourself in rules when it comes to art. Create!

If you can't do the fancy rose stitch, go buy small satin roses at sew them in your piece. I did, on the picket fence, and the roses in his hands.

I like family history so I made it for my great grandparents wedding date. I added their cabin they lived in.

And remember after your done and give it to someone, first take it to the color copier and make prints.
Remember anyone can create if you try.
