Am I Mad?
by John Mcleod
copyright 08-11-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

I may sit and talk to myself nodding my head in agreement
to a question without sound
I may shake my body against my will
I am no danger I would not kill
I may pretend to be someone else
the thoughts take over
I can’t help myself,

I may sit in the corner
hiding my secrets
stare blankly at shadows
seeing the clown inside,

I may be alone most of the time
enjoying my company
well it is mine
you are just jealous
of the adventures I have had
I have had lots of fun
does that make me mad?

John Mcleod

You're asking the wrong bunch of blokes, and smoking the wrong kind of toke here. You're asking writers (read: Dreamers) if it's wrong to dream.... yeah right!

Oh, I love this, John - right from the title to the final word!
Yep, I know how you feel -- well, most of it....*grin*
I especially like
"I may sit in the corner
hiding my secrets
stare blankly at shadows
seeing the clown inside,"
Cool!

very witty writing! Hand claps and yes i feel this one deeply. The expression of self is most facinating.
