The Day I Met You

The day I met you,
My greatest enemy, became my friend.
The sun filled my heart once again.
I found love.

I felt euphoric on your love alone.
My inspiration did not leave me.
it was inside me, holding the key,
to my smile and compassion.

You wrapped your arms around me,
sailed my fears down the stream.
Only felt like a daydream,
but effected me so positively.

To the one I love,
the one who drives away my fears,
who's heart and ear are always near,
I love you and I'll always be there for you.
