Every spring the cherry tree
Puts on her wedding gown,
Embroidered with the morning mist
And laced with feather-down.
Blushing as a virgin bride
Unveiled before the groom,
With heaven's scent embracing her
From each enamored bloom.
Cherry blossoms lift the heart
On merry wings of cheer,
To make all sad and melancholy
Moments disappear

I have written a number of short poems
on various kinds of flowers, and will be
posting a number of them within the next few weeks.
