I'm not sure where this poem came from. Evidently I posted it this past June, but it wasn't listed until now. It has not been on my Author's page, and no one has read it in Workshop, so I am editing it to bring it back on top.
********************************
The June morning wends its way down a fairy lane
To stroll past a perfumed rose trellis.
At noon it sails over pungent fresh-water lakes
And wanders through the shaded woodland glen,
Then meanders from an afternoon hammock
To skip to an amorous song-bird's trill.
June brings the welcome cool shower,
Grabs a fresh snippet of wild flowers,
And leaves it for the bride and groom.
There, glancing at the setting gold sun,
June weaves its way into the night
To dance in the moon-cloud shadows.
