Lyric: The Angels In Heaven
by Moses Hochstetler (Age: 60)
copyright 06-18-2003

Age Rating: 7 to 127

A friend of mine tired and weary of life,

I told him there is little that I can do,
But these word of courage I give you are true.

Chorus:

....The angels in Heaven are waiting on you,
....Fighting your battles as trials ensue.
....Angelic forces are cheering for you,
....Guarding and serving and helping you through.

A friend of mine filled with doubt and despair,
Came to me asking if hope was still there.
I said regardless of what he had done,

A friend of mine mourning for loved ones he'd lost,
Came to me asking if worthwhile the cost.
I told him the sunshine comes after the rain,
And he would have help to bear all the pain.

Life may not always be laughter and cheer,
We may face sadness, or lose someone dear.
But minist'ring spirits can help with our cares,
Though sometimes they are entertained unawares.

So join in the gladness of heavenly hosts,
Guardian angels protecting their posts,
Beholding the face of the Lord and the King;
Raise now your voices together and sing:
