Highschool had come and gone for the sailor scouts. . . During those years Molly became sailor comet, the protector of the universe. Just as Sailor Moon was the leader of the inner scouts, Sailor Comet became leader of the outter scouts. . . High school was almost like middle school for the group but proved to be much more difficult. They each graduated, Even Serena, with the help of Amy and Molly. The summer consisted of work and fighting against evil. Molly stood along side them for it was during their freshman year that she discovered her identity and accepted the powerful sapphire ring. But college came and suddenly everything changed. . .
Amy went to study in the medical field in Germany. Lita went to a top cullinary arts school. Mina went to a beauty college a number 2 college. Rei took over the temple and studied history. Serena just studied general things and worked as a food critic. Molly went into fashion design and works at her mothers jewelry shop. Michelle became a famous violinist where Amara became a professional race car driver. Hotaru and Rini both remain in school but since Hotaru was reborn she is far behind Rini. Trista is in the future with neo-queen Serenity. Darien has graduated from Azabu Institute and is a distinguished scientist.
Well since college started, the Sailor Scouts were near non-existence. The closest thing to a group was Serena and Darien. College was very hard for them all, especially Molly. She felt betrayed, like she had lost her best friend. But she still had Melvin who was studying to be a scientist, a bug specialist preferably. But still Molly’s thoughts centered on the sailor scouts that once existed. Melvin would do his tuxedo Melvin act to cheer Molly up but she’d just do a small smile and then go back to whatever she had been doing, even if she had been just starring out the window of her room.
One day Molly transformed to see if she might have forgotten how, she knew it was impossible to forget but she tried anyways. She pranced around her room saying “Sailor Comet!” And then pretend to fight off monsters in her room. She’d change back then let out a big sigh. She’d put her transformation ring, that had a large sapphire and a small amethyst on each side of it on a gold band, back in the drawer she kept it and then go to bed. Her nights were filled with nightmares of Serena saying goodbye or one of the scouts, especially Serena, die in her arms. She always awoke to Melvin calling her in the morning. One particular morning wasn’t quite the same though.
“Hello.” Molly answered the phone.
“Molly?” Melvin’s voice came.
“Hey Melvin.” Molly said realizing that Melvin didn’t sound right. “What’s wrong?”
“Molly.”
“Yes Melvin, I’m here.”
“Molly. . .”
“Melvin.” no answer. “Melvin?” still no answer. “Melvin! Melvin answer me!” The phone fell to the floor and Molly ran out the door saying “Mamma I’ll be back I’ve got some things to do.”
“Okay don’t be too-” Molly slammed the door before her mom could finish. “Late.”
Molly ran to Melvin’s house but he wasn’t there. So she ran all over town looking for him. I hope he’s all right! I just had a dream last night that something happened to him too! Molly thought. Come on Melvin, where are you? She continued to run until she came across a familiar spot in the park, it was the spot that Nephlyte had died for her in. She glanced over at the tree and there lay Melvin. Melvin! “Melvin!” Tears streamed down her cheeks as she ran to him. But once she reached him she realized that it wasn’t Melvin. She took a step back as the person stood up while laughing. She began backing away slowly as the person changed into the form of Melvin. “What’s the matter Molly?” he sounded just like Melvin.
“You aren’t Melvin.”
“Of coarse not, you saw me change right in front of you.”
“Then who are you and what have you done with Melvin?”
“Your nerd boyfriend is safe and you will learn who I am in due time.”
“Melvin is not a nerd! You will tell me who you are now!”
“Or you’ll throw dirt in my eye? Hahahahaha! You don’t have your ring Sailor Comet!”
“How. . . . ?”
“So you are no match for me. . . Don’t act so surprised Comet! I know more about you then you can imagine.”
“Before I go, I have a question for you. . . Are you sure you want the nerd when-” He changed so he looked like Nephlyte. “When you could have me.”
“Nephlyte’s dead! That’s a cruel joke! I will make you pay for that!”
“Hahahaha.” Then he disappeared. But Molly heard his voice say “If you want the nerd back then come here as Sailor Comet tomorrow at sunset.” Then the voice was gone. Melvin. . .
Molly ran over to Serena’s and told her everything that happened but she didn’t seem too concerned. All she said was “It was probably somebody playing a trick on you, maybe it was Melvin.”
“But Serena, I saw him transform before my very eyes!”
“You’re over exaggerating.”
“Fine, if you won’t listen to me then maybe the others will! Some leader you turned out to be!” Molly yelled then ran out the door but everyone including Lita and Rae said the same thing and Mina added “Besides Molly, it’s been so long since the negaverse has been around. Believe it or not our sailor scout days are over. . . I know you’re disappointed cause you ad only gotten four years as a sailor scout but it’s over.” I only have one choice left, I hate to do it but Amy might be the only person who’ll listen to me. So Molly went home and sent Amy an e-mail telling her of what happened. But the response would be delayed since Amy was busy in her school in Germany.
Sunset rolled around the next day and Molly took her ring out of its drawer and then headed back to that spot. Once she was almost there she put the ring on her left ring finger and yelled “Comet Jewel Power!” Her sailor out fit was similar to sailor moons except everything red on sailor moon’s, except the hair tie and the choker was blue, and everything else on Molly was purple. She wore shoes that were flat but laced up all the way to her knees. She had amethyst earrings that dangled. On her choker was the symbol of the comets:

She ran to the spot where they were panned to meet. There waiting for her was the man from the morning before. She put her hands on her hips and approached him carefully. “So you made it Sailor Comet. I was beginning to worry that I was just going to have to kill your newest love.” Then Melvin appeared out of thin air.
“Molly!” Melvin yelled. Then he turned to the man whom had been holding him captive. “If you harm her I swear I’ll kill you!” Melvin. . . The man looked at him and laughed.
“How do you plan on doing that, you have no real powers.”
“I’ll find a way you Cad!”
“How are you going to use your knowledge about insects against me? HA!”
“How dare you-”
“Enough!” Molly interrupted. “What do you want from him!”
“Idiotic Sailor Scout! You honestly still believe I want him?” The man chuckled.
“What?!”
“Ahhh now you’re starting to understand!”
“Noooooooo Mooooooooooooollllllllllllyyyy!!!!!!!!!” Melvin yelled.
“Hush you!” He threw Melvin to the ground.
“Melvin!”
“Oh did I throw the man you love on the ground?”
“Why do you say the man I love? We’ve never even kissed yet!”
“Yes and you never got to kiss Nephlyte but yet you still loved him.”
Maybe he’s right, maybe I do love Melvin but am just afraid that he doesn’t love me. Either way if I admit my feelings then Melvin’s life will be in even more danger. “You must be mistaken I don’t love him. I’ve only loved one man and he was taken from me. Melvin’s just. . . Melvin’s just. . . A rebound!”
A wave of pain went over Melvin’s face it looked as if his hear was breaking but Molly just figured the man had hurt him worse then he lead on in the first place. “Fine, you’re right, I must be mistaken.” Then men appeared behind her. “He’s free to go since he can no longer be used.” Melvin began walking off sadly but stopped far enough so he was out of the middle of the battle. Keep walking Melvin. Please! I did this for you. Then he went behind a tree and came out tuxedo Melvin. No! You’ll ruin everything! “Don’t worry Molly! I’ll protect you at all costs!” Melvin you idiot! The man just laughed and said “Ignorant child! When will you learn that this is big kid stuff.” He motioned for the men to attack Sailor Comet. Sailor Comet raised her hands to the sky and said “Comet Meteor Shower!” And quickly brought her hands down as meteors began to rain on top of the men. But some men caught her from behind and Melvin dug into his backpack and yelled “Molly love shrimp!” and threw a hand full of shrimp at the men which knocked them off balance enough for Sailor Comet to break loose.
“I underestimated you ‘Tuxedo Melvin’.” He said the Tuxedo Melvin part in a mocking fashion. “Should have gotten rid of you instead of letting you go.” He motioned to the men that had just regained composure. They ran towards Sailor Comet again but she yelled “Asteroid crush!” and a huge asteroid flew at them. “Sometimes you just have to do it your self.” The man said raising his hands to the air then branches came from the ground and grabbed Sailor Comet. They began to drag her into the ground.
“Molly!” Melvin yelled knowing he could do nothing.
“I see, your whole plan was to kill me.” Sailor Comet said.
“No, I am taking you to my world, you’ll be a useful tool in the conquering of the universe.”
“I will not help you my task is to protect the universe even if it means my own life.”
“We’ll find a way to make you abandon your precious universe. Just like the Sailor Scouts abandoned you.” Then vine grabbed Melvin to keep him from helping Sailor Comet. “And when we’re done with you and we kill you this will be the last face you’ll see.” He transformed back into Nephlyte.
“Un hand her right now you cannot have her!” A familiar voice came from the distance. “Shine Aqua Illusion!” Then Sailor comet was engulfed by water as the branches decibel. The water was suddenly gone and her and Melvin were free. She looked for where she heard the voice then in the distance she saw a blue Sailor Scout. “Not all of us Scouts have abandoned her.”
“Sailor Mercury! What are you doing back?!”
“I came as soon as I got your letter. I finished my finals early so I was pretty much done with school for the summer anyways. Besides this gives me a reason to visit.” She winked.
“I’ll be back for you Comet.” the man yelled.
“And we’ll be waiting!” Mercury said.
“I was sure that I was a goner!”
“I just couldn’t leave you to fight a battle alone. Did you tell Amara and Michelle?”
“No, Amara is in Indianapolis and Michelle is touring right now and they forgot their communication devices cause no one really thinks of this stuff now a days.”
“Yeah, so you told me.”
“Yeah.” a tear escaped Molly’s eyes. Then she turned to Melvin. “Thanks Melvin. You know you didn’t have to do that.”
“I know Molly but I’d do anything for you. Thanks for putting up with me.” Then he turned and ran away with tears streaming down his face. Melvin. . . Maybe he could love me. “Molly love shrimp!” He named his attack after me.
“Molly?” Amy’s voice brought Molly back to reality. “What was that all about?”
“Amy, I said I didn’t love him. . .”
“But Molly, you do.”
“What?”
“I can tell by the way you are and always have been when you’re around him. Why would you say that?”
“I was afraid he might not feel the same and that man, who ever he is, would use that against me.”
“Oh.” They went to Rei’s temple where all the inner scouts were having a sleep over. Molly walked in the room first because Amy was a surprise.
“Hey Molly, we were just talking about you.” Serena said.
“Hey Molly. Did you go back tonight.” Rei said in a mocking voice and everyone laughed. “Assuming you’re here then I’d say no.” Everyone laughed again.
“I am standing here right now because of Melvin and a Sailor Scout that hasn’t forgotten how we all were there for each other.”
“Who Trista? She’s in the future.” Everyone roared with laughter.
“No, I didn’t forget.” Amy said as she walked in the room and everyone was shocked. “That’s right. I’m home because I got a disturbing letter that the Scouts refused to help a friend. The most disturbing part though was that Serena, who risked her life many times for Molly, treated her like she was insane.”
“Amy!” everyone exclaimed. They jumped up to greet her but Amy held out a hand in front of them. “I just came by to see if what she said was true and now I know. . . The Sailor Scouts are dead since they wont even listen to their friend. So I am staying with Molly the time that I’m here and we’re going to get to the bottom of this. Let’s go Molly and try to get a hold of the Outter Scouts.” Then Molly and Amy walked out.
“I think Amara comes home tomorrow so we could leave a message on her machine.” Molly suggested
“Okay.” They did just that.
The next day the Inner Scouts were at the park when suddenly Darien walked up. “Amy called today, she’s in town.” Everyone was silent. “She said something about Molly being in trouble and you all just laughed at her. Is that true Serena?”
“Yes Darien. It’s true, but she’s being ridiculous about the whole thing. I think someone’s just playing a trick on her.”
“I see. Well then, that’s great!” Darien’s form melted away and the same man that had attacked Molly stood in front of them. He made a gesture with his hands and a force encircled them and slowly got smaller. “I have great plans for you all. I’ll kill you then less work for Sailor Comet to help me and my people take over the universe! After I brain wash her of coarse.”
“No, Molly was telling the truth.”
“Of coarse she was when has she lied to you especially when it’s this important.” He laughed. “But now you’ll never know how much you really meant to her or vice versa.”
“Hold it!”
“Not you again! Damn it! The one Sailor Scout that refused to turn her back on Molly.”
“That’s right! Sailor Mercury here and I’m gonna punish you!”
“I thought you turned your back on them though!”
“She didn’t turn her back on them and neither did I because Sailor Scouts are suppose to stick together! I am Sailor Comet! On behalf of the universe I’ll punish you!”
“So you decided to show again Comet.”
“If my friends are in danger, I’ll be there no matter what!” Sailor Comet made a pose. “You will be sorry you messed with me or my friends!” He motioned and branches came out of the ground and grabbed them both they began squeezing Amy tighter and tighter and began dragging Sailor Comet into the ground.
“Two birds with one stone! This is too easy.”
“You’re right! Molly love shrimp!” A hand full of shrimp hit him in the face but had no effect on the field or the branches.
“Not you again! Annoying little pest.”
“That’s right! I’m Tuxedo Melvin and I won’t let you harm Molly!” Melvin, he came back.
“HA!” he held out a hand and Tuxedo Melvin flew against a tree and was unconscious.
“Melvin!” Sailor Comet screamed.
“The Universe is mine!”
“Not yet it isn’t slime ball!” a masculine yet female voice said.
“What now?” A figure lept down from a tree.
“You will not harm any of those girls! I am Sailor Uranus!” Another figure jumped down to stand next to Uranus.
“And I am Sailor Neptune!” Then they said at the same time. “And we’ll protect Sailor Comet at all costs!” then a third and forth figure approached side by side.
“Don’t forget us. I traveled back from the future to protect Sailor Comet! I am Sailor Pluto!”
“And I am Sailor Saturn back in action thanks to the other Outer Scouts.” Then a figure fell from the sky without a graceful landing.
“Sorry I’m late but I was visiting my parents. But now I’m here! I’m Sailor Mini Moon!”
“What?!”
“Us Outer Scouts are here to protect Sailor Comet!” everyone except Mini Moon said.
“And I’m here to protect Comet and my future Mother!”
“This is impossible!” Then the branches that were holding Sailor Comet disappeared and reappeared with her by the man he took her in his arms since she was unconscious by this time and then he disappeared with her. The field and the branches that confined the Inner Scouts suddenly disappeared.
“Damn it!” Uranus yelled. “He got away!”
“With Molly.” Neptune added.
“Well we better go make up a plan.” Pluto said as they all changed into normal form.
“Yeah I just got my memory back so I’m not sure if I’ll be much help but I can try.” Hotaru said.
“Amy, Rini, you want to go with us?” Trista asked.
“I would love to we can go get something to eat while we’re planning.”
“Yeah! Food! I’m starving!” Rini exclaimed. They all began to walk off.
“Wait! What about us?” Serena objected.
“You turned your back on her.” Trista stated bluntly.
“Oh, I see what it is. You wouldn’t believe that there was danger until he physically attacked you! So it wasn’t good enough that she was in danger! You had to be in danger too!” Amara yelled. “Well forget it! We’ll save your ‘best friend’ on our own! Lets grab Melvin too.” She picked melvin up and began walking again as Serena fell to her knees with tears streaming down her face. The Inner Scouts except Amy and Rini tried to comfort her.
“Serena it’s just not our battle.” Mina said.
“Yes it is!” Serena said with anger in her voice. “We let Molly down an now she is going to be turned against us! If I were her, I wouldn’t even fight it with the way we’ve been treating her. I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t need to be brain washed anymore.”
“Serena’s right!” Lita said.
“Yeah!” Rei agreed. “We have to help her!” She helped Serena up and they headed off to Rei’s temple.
Molly woke up to Nephlyte’s face. She tried to jump up but was chained down to the couch. He sat on the couch and began moving closer. “Stay right there! I know you aren’t the real Nephlyte!” He stopped and stared for a minute.
“I’m just trying to make your dreams come true. I mean your first kiss, you are in college now and 19 years is a long time to wait.”
“I want my first kiss to be magical. So are you really trying to full fill my dream or your own?”
“See kisses aren’t my thing. I was just going to full fill yours before mine. But since you don’t want yours full filled by me then I wont. But I on the other hand would love to full fill mine with you.” He grabbed her wrists and held her still as he lift her skirt and undid his pants. Molly screamed as he slowly began to ‘invade’ as he called it. Then Molly fainted and a woman appeared and said “Malachite! Put that away! She fainted so there is no reason to continue. She’ll believe she’s dirtied and no longer pure..” Malachite did as he was told. “As you wish my darling Zoicite.” He replied.
“That’s completely cruel to use Nephlyte’s face. . . I love it!”
“I thought you would darling especially since you’re the one that killed him.” They both began to laugh and left the room to have dinner.
A while later Molly awoke, at frist she didn’t remember a thing but then flashes of that man taking off his pants. Tears streamed down her face. Now I don’t deserve to be with Melvin. . . He could have kissed me and I might not know it too. I am useless. Molly then fell asleep haunted with dreams and pictures. . . .
