We hold many similar views,
but are not afraid to speak of differences.
We dream together of real worlds,
but also travel within heart's fantasy.
Laughter and faith bind us through tears,
teaching us to trust the other completely.
Fear holds no power over us,
for friendship binds us beyond time or distance.
We are certain of the other,
knowing:
life's mountains are never climbed alone;
daily sorrows are never borne in solitude,
painful paths are travled in pairs,
and the beauty of life is shared with a true and faithful friend.
