How many times have I told you
that I can't stand everything you represent,
but I still love you,
and worship the ground you walk upon.
You are my temple,
of which I can hide from human emotion.
You are my doctor,
because I am allergic to devotion.
You are my drill sergeant
because all you did was yell.
You are my Neptune,
you heard more than the sea in shells.
I think I put you on a cloud,
because I had no pride in myself.
You had a very obnoxious crowd,
but I love you now and forever.
You are my programmer,
because you tried to install a new heart.
You are my old timer,
You've been there from the start.
You are my dark closet.
from time to time, I got locked away.
You are my sun dial.
For me you never had the time in the day.
Sometimes I wonder if you will decend,
away from me
and away from my friends.
I never loved you anway.
You are my brick wall.
because you helped me lock everyone out.
You are my sunshine,
when my head was filled with drought.
Why do I continue?
Can someone answer me?
You're just you.
Bold, weird but beautiful.
You are my tissue,
when my red eyes needed drying.
You are that tree I can't climb.
because your ego is too high.
You are my shoe strings.
because you didn't keep yourself tied.
You are my angel.
You save me, or at least you tried.
