Shattered dreams are my reality.
They fall to the ground and break without a sound.
They bend and twist to show my pain.
They don't glow with passion or fright.
They show the truth and nothing more.
They never show my thoughts any more.
They can't be brought back.
They can't be thought back.
They never want to be real.
They never want me to feel.
My dreams are gone and never coming back.
They never would be true and never will.
I'm here without a dream without a scheme.
Never to dream again I sit and wait to leave this place.
To enter a tomb and never come alive again.
I shattered along with my dreams never to come back again.

April:
Never allow the World or circumstances to take away your dreams. If old dreams die, dream new ones to replace them. Keep your dreams April. Sometimes, they are all we have and usually, they are better than reality....dreams are the ultimate escape from pain....death is forever and not even dreams live there.. Your poem is very expressive but too sad for one so young...you have eons of happiness to look forward to and many wonderful dreams to come true.
Warm regards,
Lyle
