(There are PRO's and CON'S to the internet... but all the PROSE in the world won't fix problems we face day to day, or will it?)
In a world without color, only liquid molten lips
Electronic pulses where our hearts and minds do drip
Feelings sent thru tapping keys, e-mails sent to faceless friends
friendships easily begin, but so often do they end
There are no races to hate, reading "Arial" size 10
No religion matters when in chat we bleed again
There are no countries that cry for us to go to war
Only a web of a world, and all that it has in store
Some perhaps might think that the internet is better
Communicating in blips and fonts in lighted letters
But it's only an illusion clouding the thoughts we think
Drowning us in distance, in quicksand cold we sink
See, people think computers are the answers that we crave
not realizing the truth and how we are enslaved
