Sailor Moon: The College years Part II

The outer scouts, along with Mercury and Mini-Moon, continued the search for Molly. “Anything yet, Mercury?” Neptune asked.
“No. . . There seems to be something but it’s too fuzzy to tell.” Mercury said while typing in her mini computer with her visor on. “Lets keep looking and then we can come back later.” Then they all continued walking.

Meanwhile the four former friends of Molly sat in Rei’s temple trying to decide on what they could do. “It’s hopeless without Amy we can’t scan for anything.” Mina complained. “Maybe we should just let the others handle this.”
“No! It’s not hopeless! We just need a different approach!” Serena objected.
“Wow! Serena dedicated and not asleep when discussing tactics! I wish everyone was here to see this!” Luna smirked.
“Yeah not to mention she hasn’t touched a single comic book this whole time!” Artimis said and him and Luna both laughed.
“Luna! Artimis! This isn’t funny! I care about Molly and non of this would have happened if we believed her!”
“Sorry Serena.” Everyone sighed.
“Molly’s the one who deserves an apology. Now lets get back to work! We can start at the park by the tree, where he first attacked.” Everyone stared at Serena with astonishment. “Don’t just sit there! Lets go!” Everyone jumped to their feet and left the temple.

Darien sat in the dinner having coffee with a man that was known by the sailor scouts but would not be recognized. “Long time no see Prince Darien.” The man said.
“It has been a long time since we last met hasn’t it?” Darien replied.
“Yes my old friend it has.”
“What brings you back?”
“My life was restored by the negaverse however it forgot to erase all my previous memories.”
“The negaverse? Do you know anything about what happened to Molly?”
“Yes she is with ‘my people’ but I will watch over her until I can help her escape or until the sailor scouts find her.”
“Good we have always made a good team when you weren’t fighting against us. Can’t you take off the disguise?”
“No or they’ll know. We all disguise ourselves in order to keep our identities hidden. But I have to go.”
“Thank you for your help. . . .” Then the man disappeared. “. . . Nephlyte.”

Molly woke up to a woman entering the room. “Sleep well?” The woman asked.
“Who are you?” Molly asked.
“I am the mistress of this house.” She said proudly.
“So you willingly. . .”
“Give my body away?” Molly nodded. “Well yes but mostly to the man who brought you here . . . I am technically just his mistress.”
“But he. . . Did he rape you the first time you met?”
“No because the first time we met I knew I was in love and I gave it to him.”
“How could you love a man like him?”
“What is that suppose to mean?”
“Nothing.”
“There is nothing wrong with him you little brat!” Then she slapped Molly across the face. “I’ll teach you some manners!” At that point the door opened and a man entered carrying a tray of food.”
“I hope I’m not interrupting anything but I thought the scout could use some food.” The man said.
“Your timing is impeccable! Fine! We’ll finish this later Sailor!” Then the woman stormed out while slamming the door behind her.
“You don’t have to worry about her too much. I’ll make sure she doesn’t hurt you.” The man winked. Although Molly had never seen this man before she felt safe and believed him. She felt like she had known him for a long time. “Did you sleep well?”
“Not really, I had nightmares.”
“Really? About what?”
“When that man raped me.”
“Who raped you?” He was shocked.
“The man that is with the woman who was just here.”
“What?!” He stood quickly. “I’ll be back later.” Then he ran out of the room closing the door behind him.
He ran till he saw Malachite and then grabbed him by the shirt. “What did you do?!”
“What’s the problem Nephlyte?”
“What did you do to the scout?”
“Nothing.”
“She said you raped her!”
“No, I acted like I was going to and then she fainted so I didn’t have to. All I needed was for her to believe I did cause then she would give up on fighting us.” Nephlyte let go of Malachite’s shirt and took a step back.
“I’m sorry but I just don’t believe in raping somebody especially when they are completely defenseless.”
“I understand I didn’t want to go through with it cause of Zoicite. Even if the sailor had been willing.”

Molly waited for Nephlyte, still unaware that was who the man was. But instead of Nephlyte a new man entered. Molly shrunk under the covers. “Good morning sailor scout.” She said nothing and held onto the covers tightly. “Shy? Probably from one of the others. Your food is getting cold.” He sat on the bed and Molly moved till she was as far away from him as possible without leaving the bed. He grabbed a piece of toast and held it out to her. She just stayed still. “It’s ok, I won’t hurt you. You know me.” Then he changed to a familiar form. “Do you remember me? My name is Jedite. I’m here to help you along with the man who brought you this food.”

“How can I trust you? You tried to kill all the sailors.” Molly said in a quivering voice.
“Yes but with regrets. Also my partner did as well but he turned good before it was too late.”
“Who is he? I feel safe when he’s near.”
“That doesn’t surprise me one bit.” He smiled. “But I’ll let him reveal himself when he’s ready.” Molly took the toast Jedite was still holding out to her and he scarfed it down. “See, no harm done. I’ll leave you to eat.” He changed back into the form he was in before and left the room. Jedite, helping me? Molly thought. And who is this partner of his?

Serena, Lita, Mina, and Rei all searched the tree where the first encounter happened. They looked everywhere but saw nothing. “I feel a negative energy buy I can’t pinpoint it.” Rei said.
“We’ve gotta keep looking.” Serena whined.
“If it isn’t here then where can it be?” Lita asked.
“Who knows we should just leave this to the others.” Mina complained.
“Mina, I am shocked at you!” Artimis said as he and Luna walked up. “I thought I had tought you better then that! Usually Serena’s the cry baby but this time you’ve taken her place.”
“Hey!” Serena exclaimed. “I am not a cry baby.”
“I admit you’ve gotten much better, but you still are the whiner of the group.”
“Artimis is right.” Luna declared. “You’ve all got a job to do. . . So you can’t, back down.”
“You’re right Luna.” Mina mumbled. “We won’t disappoint you.”
“It’s not, me, that you should be worried about disappointing.” Luna said as she looked to the sky.
“Yeah! Molly’s counting on us!” Serena exclaimed.
“No, Molly’s counting on the other. We abandoned her. Remember?” Rei sighed. “But we still shouldn’t give up! Lets keep looking.”
“Your right Rei, lets go!” Then they saw several figures walking towards them in sailor uniforms. They came into view as the outer scouts along with Mercury and Mini-Moon.
“What are you doing back here moon brain?” Uranus asked with arrogance in her voice.
“We’re looking for a portal to the negaverse.” Serena said.
“Ha! Meatball head actually doing something for another person? Don’t make me laugh!” She scoffed. Then she walked towards Serena and slapped her with the back of her hand. “Lets see, how brave you really are. Transform!”
“I don’t wanna fight you!”
“Transform!”
“No!”
“Fine.” Uranus changed back into normal form. “I’ll fight you this way then.” Amara lunged at Serena as she dodged.
“I don’t want to fight.”

“Then I’ll squash you like a bug.” The inner scouts, except Amy and Rini, stepped forward to help Serena but the outer scouts, who had already changed back to normal, stepped in their way each of them ready to fight. Amy and Rini just stood there not sure of what they should do. But suddenly a familiar red rose landed between the battle. Tuxedo Mask walked up calmly.
“Allies should never fight eachother. They should be united at all times.” He said.
“Tuxedo Mask.” Serena said with starry eyes.
“It pays to have allies and we should work side by side to save Molly. I have an ally none of you know about. He lives in the negaverse with the people who took Molly and is taking care of her as we speak.”
“How do you know this man’s reliable?” Uranus said critically.
“He is an old friend and would die to protect Molly.”
“Is it . . . Nephlyte?” Serena asked as he nodded. “But he’s dead.”
“The negaverse bought him back to life but never erased his memory so he still loves Molly.”
“Amy!” A familiar voice yelled with excitement.
“Greg? Greg!” Amy and Greg ran into each others arms. “What are you doing here?”
“Well, I had a dream that your friend Molly was taken. So I knew it must be true. Plus I’d never pass an opportunity to see you again.”
“Oh Greg.” They hugged, for what seemed like forever.
“Excuse me. I’m looking for Lita Kino. Do you know where I could find her?” It was Ken, Lita’s best friend.
“Ken!” Lita pushes her way past the others. “What are you doing here?”
“I’m not sure. I felt like you might need my help.”
“Thanks actually we could use some help.” She turned to the other scouts and said, “That is if you guys don’t mind.”
“Of coarse not!” They all answered at once.
“The more the better.” Serena laughed.
“I’m glad to help.” Ken laughed.
“So am I..” Greg said seriously.
“I wanna help too.” Another familiar voice said.
“Chad!” Rei yelled as she ran to him. “You’re back!”
“Of coarse my tour’s over so I wanted to come see you.” Rei started blushing. “Oh and I know someone else that wants to help.” Then another man walked up.
“Hello Mina. . . . Everybody.” It was Andrew.
“You’re back in town?” Mina blushed.
“Yeah I’m done with my schooling and can start my career as a doctor. So you all have my medical skills.” Mina and Andrew smiled at eachother.
“This is just one big reunion!” Serena laughed. “Molly will be pleased. . . . . . . . . . That is if she gets to see it. I wonder what’s going on in the negaverse. . .

I'll write this quickly as I want to get to chapter three to read it. excellent work as before. I found the ending of this chapter a little confusing. The outer Scouts were ready to fight Serena for her simple mistake of not believing Molly? I would hope they would be more understanding than that, after all, Molly is in danger and I think they would overlook her disbelief.
Did they make up now? The ending wasn't too clear on that, unless I missed it. I think what made the ending a little confusing for me was the sudden introduction of all the characters.
However, it is an excellent story, and I like the way the negaverse is slowly trying to get Molly to their side. Can't wait to read part three.
Again, I'll be back another day to give you some praise points when I get some points to use.
