Screaming in pain and ecstacy
Carved in my arms a code
Something to unload
These years untold
I sleep inside myself
Painting my soul black and chrome
I'm safe in here
Inside my head
Here I feel free
Here I can be me
Living off of one unhappy memories
Protecting me from you
Protecting you from me
Don't listen to what I have to say
Cause I'm okay
I'm here to stay
I'm on my way
Sinking inside
I have dry tears to cry
In my dreams I fall
I can't fly
But I'll never die
These wings are broken
