Void of Doubt
by Amanda Benham (Age: 22)
copyright 09-06-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

It feels like it’s been so long,
Since the last time I cried,
I remember feeling lost and alone,
Like I do now,
Like I always do,
I'm so tired of being cold,
Trapped in my void of doubt,
I cared so much then,
Why don't I now?
I'm so close to the edge,
Ready to fall and never come back home,
To my void of doubt,
I trust no one,
I fear the world,
But no one knows that I've pretended to be so strong all along,
But my will is breaking away,
To reveal my weakness,
My void of doubt

The only thing that can heal the apathy is the hands of someone who truly cares. If your will breaks, if you fall apart, you have us here, and you have me, to help pick up the peices afterwards.
