Her world had vanished
Her heart bursting with despair
Darkness covered her mind
Someone intervened
With a show of *compassion*
Her day became filled with hope

Martha, your words are so true, if only more people thought like you then the world would be a nicer place.

Good work,

You never know the power of empathy and compassion until it saves your life. A woman was contemplating suicide one night, rather seriously. Frighteningly, more serious than when she was a teen. She wanted to leave a note somewhere, and decided on the internet was the place. Someone messaged a stranger, and spread some cheer her way. Someone took the time to be nice, and found something sweet to say. Someone saved a life that night, tho she never mentioned her plight. ... I'll always be grateful for the way things turned out that eve... For the girl I was speaking of was me.

Martha Compassion is what we have that makes us human. Everyone should have it in their heart.
