A Guy I met

I met a guy,
A guy with talent,
A talent that you can only imagine.

I met a guy,
A guy I fell in love with,
But, I’m blind.

Blinded by love,
So blind I couldn’t see,
See, the reality.

The reality, that he,
That he isn’t the one.

The one for me,
The right one,
But, the one I love.

I love him,
But, he doesn’t know,
He has someone.

Someone else,
To share his life with,
To be happy with.

I must let go,
But, I can’t
I don’t want to.

Because of my love,
My love for him,
I’m blind.

If I don’t,
I would just fall deeper,
Deeper into the hole.

Deeper into depression,
I need to let go,
Let go of this love.

But, do I want to,
Do I want to let go,
Can I let go.

No, I can’t,
I won’t,
I will never let go.

Until the right day,
I will never let go of my love,
My love for him.

As you get older there is a cure for falling for guys that belong to other people (all us OLDER girls learn) Make friends with their sweetheart and then...you won't want that guy anymore. Friends first, is always better. If it's meant to be...it will happen, in time. Love (the emotion) is too important to waste on someone, who is in a relationship with someone else. Mr. right is out there. Don't look for him as he will find you. Meanwhile, make lots of friends. I liked your poem.
