There's so much I want to say,
So much I need to let go,
Crying never helped much,
Neither did knowing you weren't around,
To comfort my pain,
There's so much there for you to know,
How much I love and hate you all at the same time,
I can't decide what to stand for,
I hate to hear your voice,
But I love to see your face,
I hate to see you crying,
I love to look into your eyes when you glance at me from across the room,
I hated it when you'd ask for so much,
The things I never had,
I loved it when you held my hand so tight,
Like we belonged together,
I hated it when you smiled and laughed like nothing was ever wrong,
But I will always and forever love the time we had when nothing else mattered in the world,
It was just us,
You wonder how it is possible,
To love & hate at the same time,
Well how can you not care for me like you did once before?
Am I still alive in your darkened world?
Let me back into your life,
It's not the same without you by my side,
So you ask how I can love & hate you,
When deep inside you feel just the same?
