Ah yes,
I made a few half-hearted attempts, and chickened out.
Well, I was only trying to draw attention to me, my problems, my suffering.
Now I have turned my heart to the sufferings of others.
But suicide is the all-attention-getter.
The absence of a loved one seems to have more impact than the ones around us, whom I at least once took for granted.
I can see your penchant for wishing to stray from the orthodox path of poetry, which I love as you know.
At first, I too thought it too short, but then -what else is there to say?
Excellent write to my ears and taste!
Fondly,
~Rich

i think this is such a short poem but it is so true and yet so sad. i have many friends that have threatened to use suicide if there life doesnt get better but that is just taking the easy way out and shows that you are not strong or do not want to admit that you are strng
i like how your poem was just so short and right to the point and yet so meaningful.
