Reality's Reflection

Yes, mirror and reflections again! ^_^ This was originally a song, so the beat might be slightly off because it was written with a tune in mind. 0.o

A mirror hangs on the wall,
many pass it in the hall,
But when they look inside,
do they see
the complete truth,
of their reality?

So many reflections,
in so many directions.
But none of them know,
what the mirror won't show.

mars the true vision,
sets up a clear division,
keeps us from seeing,
what's before our eyes.

lifts up the silk shroud,
clears up the grey clouds,
helps us see through,
see through all the lies.

She fixes her hair,
without a single care.
Not bothering to look,
at what's obviously there.

A girl who looks happy,
that would never cry.
But inside she abused,
and wants to die.

The mirror sees all,
it knows what she dreams.
Filled with nightmares,
abuse and screams.
But it also knows,
what it doesn't show...
