Sans Vous – Sans Moi

  Sans Vous – Sans Moi
Picture Credits:

This is
how I know that
I love you more than life,
because my life is meaningless
sans vous.

One day
I saw you there
eons away from me;
I reached out to you anyway
my Dream.

Your smile
is my laughter;
your frown brings me to tears.
Each pierces my receptive soul
clean through.

At night
then you are mine.
My imagination
creates apparations of you
for me.

Funny
how we exist,
not knowing what we’ve missed,
until someone appears so rare
as you.

Gentle
like a kitten -
lioness inside you;
seldom does she break free to roam,
as born

Blood flows
hearts beating still;
air is breathed, expired
and yet we seem dead to our needs
alone.

Thinking
always of you;
wondering how you are.
Praying you are in good spirits
always.

Stars shine;
Moon glows above;
Earth spins on its axis.
You could be on Venus – me Mars,
soul’s linked.

Oceans
may separate;
blue mountains may obscure.
I shall still see you standing there,
sans moi.

Excellent as usual. It has a freshness of expression, Lyle. Really comes alive.
