Flutist Is Playing
by Irina Guschina (Age: 53)
copyright 08-11-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

Choka

Not a grave organ,
Not a fickle violin,
Only calmest flute
Makes all my soul fluttering…
Flutist is playing,
Flutist is crying with me.

Do not stop all my sad heart,
Let me listen it, flutist.

What a pretty poem! (Okay, I'm terrible at commenting, sorry!) I play the flute, and to me the piano sounds much prettier, because I hear the flute so much. But ironically, I play the piano too! Okay... Great poem! Erbarley!

I hear your soul floating in the breeze and feel your warmth comforting in the notes and words played, a special song for all who want to hear.. So very sweet.. Walt

I can almost see you lost in the music as it carries your emotions...very nice

This poem is as hautingly beautiful as the music of the flute itself. I love to listen to James Galway, or Native American flute music. You have captured the mood with this poem, Irina.

The flute is one of my favorite musical instruments, Irina.

You've chosen an apt musical instrument to represent a cherished emotion. The flute has beautiful haunting tones. It uplifts the spirit. It is sharp and clear. Nice poem.

Good job
