Love and peace. What does it mean? When you hear the phrase “love and peace” what do you think of? The old lady on the porch singing and sewing missing someone she well never sees again. Or maybe the young man getting the cat out of the tree? Or the soldiers across the seas protecting us well who are protecting them. Soldiers are dying and for what. We don’t care. Now some do, don’t get me wrong. But what about the fifteen year old child with a three year old baby who is going to protect the baby from all the drugs, sex, and murder that her mother has gotten her into. What then. Or who is going to protect the old lady on the porch from drive by shootings. Or the young man from getting jumped by a gang. I believe that there is good in every one. They just don’t know it. They would rather be a hard ass then try to by nice to some one, and they would rather get killed or get there child taken away then stay in school and actually learn something for once. I may just be a child but I know about life and a lot of the pains out there. I know what drugs and sex can do to a girl. I know what it is like to lose a loved one or six loved ones in one year. Now if you pull that trigger or jump of that bridge you are not only letting people down you are hurting the ones you love. Like your child or children or your mother or father. What if tomorrow never comes does your mother know you love her. I know mine does. Love and peace. Do you know what it means? Do you care to even think about love and peace? Do you even care when someone dyes, someone you don’t even know. Just because you don’t know them that does not mean that people are in pain. People are in pain everyday. Is it that we don’t notice or we don’t care? Just a simple hello might make there day. Or the old man asking for money. Just imagine what one dollar might do for him, you just might make his world a little bet more brighter.

Completely and totally correct!
I agree with you, put all the members of p-n-p put together wouldn't be able to change the world from what it is.....
Though you have a couple of spelling mistakes.
You know, I have actually made it a point at times to smile and say hello to anyone I pass when on my walks. The reactions are interesting. Some smile back, some even say hello. There are, however, those who look away withough much expression change as if getting too close to another human is almost more than they can bear.
Love and peace, could they go hand-in-hand with forgiveness and compassion?
Good write
Wonderful things to read. I believe everyone needs to hear this. The world is such a horrid place these days. A few spelling errors, but that's all I found noticably 'wrong'.
All-in-all, this article deserves the main page. Most-definitely.
