Never Forgotten
by Regina S.
copyright 08-27-2003

Age Rating: 7 to 127

To the bravest of souls,
the purest of hearts,
your life may have ended,
but your legend just starts.

Happiness followed
wherever you went.
You enjoyed every minute
of life that you spent.

You cared so much for others.
Life, you held dear,
and when death came knocking,
you answered without fear.

You were so young,
it wasn't your time to go.
I loved you so much,
I hope that you know.

You won't be forgotten,
in our hearts you will stay,
for when earth was in danger,
you died saving the day.

Note: This poem's supposed to be from Superman to Supergirl. I read a graphic novel where Supergirl actually DIES!!! It was sooo sad!! If anyone wants to read it, it's called "Crisis on Infinite Earths" by Marv Wolfman and George Perez and I highly recommend it. I think it might be on Amazon.com.
