Ah, yes, old friends... I still have high school friends who call me after 30 years. Of course, they're only calling to tell me that they're going to be a little late on the payment they owe me, but what the heck... it's the thought that counts, right?

Most of my current phone calls come up as "unavailable" on my caller-ID. Recently, I've started trying to start BS sessions with these friendly telemarketer folks. "Hi, Wendy, it's SO good to finally hear from you! Has your husband gotten out of jail, yet? No? Well, look at it this way, at least he's not beating you up any more!" CLICK Darn.... and just when I was starting to have fun, too.
