seashine and the gypsy blood in me.
by Jenny Stein (Age: 21)
copyright 08-25-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

I am in no mood for real love
Or am I? My stomach demands
the butterflies and everything is
just too small.
Too unbeautiful.

Funny how a little prefix
can change a whole word Funny how a little restlessness can change
my whole world.
Love me.

But just hold that thought
as I rummage up the scents
and sights that attract
the colorful creatures
in my tummy.

Just let me satisfy that need
before I satisfy this whole thing
we have going on and have had
going on since the beginning of my eyes
looking at you.

That wave of calmness swept over me
and took me out to sea, and now that
I am without any land in sight
I feel like I might want to make
a pit stop at an island.

Just to rest my body.
To numb my brain

and make it remember just why
I hated the land. Just why
I don’t like boys.
Boys , but you.

You are an exception.
Mother ocean has told me this.
Whispers turn to shouts at night,
and the waves are yelling at me
as I stand on the beach wondering
what is under that blanket of yours.

Stars burning passionately
make crude gestures
and cant understand
my hesitance.

Moon so bright
so dull a path
it forms on
the water.

Its one big mockery of me
hanging for all eyes to see.
To sea.
To sea it is.
Just let me change outfits
so this one doesn’t get ruined.
I’m in no mood for laundry.

My gods...you're wonerful! Do you know what you remind me of? The expatriate authors. Stein, Cummings...more of Stein though. You should definitly read her. Gertrude Stein. I think you would like her writing. It reminds me of yours (just a bit more extreme <.<)

Beautiful work!
