Pain Made to Order
by Jessalyn Hamby (Age: 22)
copyright 10-28-2003

Age Rating: 16 to 127

Suffering again
Old wounds are opening
Where the poisoned blade of life has hit
There's no time to look to the sky
And wonder why
Screaming out loud so silently
Dying in my eye's
Once upon a second they held joy
They could cry tears besides pain and sorrow
Between the wasteland and the sky
Dying in my mind
My words no longer make sense
No sense in meaning
No sense in worth
Swirling and lost in the flood of pain
I never sleep anymore
But I can't wake up from this nightmare
Confronting my faults
Pestering all my little flaws
To the point of hatred
Everythings broken apart
Disregard this pain
Stay away from the razor
No I can't
Kill the pain
With three too deep
The pain is gone
For now..................
