I was a lonely drifter, a man of meager means; my soul a fragile eggshell
An absentee from world-wide civilization
My non-existence doomed me to a place much worse than Hell
But emotional words are binding, a pleasurable addiction in full-motion
Your expressive notions fly to Heaven’s nexus on a red-winged grouse
To peruse the distant earth below, sprawling lush with clinging vines
Myriad plants of unknown origin, grown in Mother Nature’s green-house
Mysterious undergrowth of truth or fiction, ideas which have no borderlines
Daguerre-o-type imagination surges through my pulsing bloodstream
The past is silver-coated; it presents a swaying future, nomadic sanctuary
Posing never-ending questions in a multi-layered daydream
Exposing marvelous answers that leave me aptly wondering; airworthy
Fascination lingers as caution drowns in changing climes and seasonings
Venturing forth in phrases black and white; a million shades of gray
Bold colors slice and dice; earthquakes shock unblended reasonings
I’ve found my heart, my gateway home within your diary’s private hideaway

Once more, Nancy, your work leaves me breathless. I have always been a fan of your writing, and for some reason, I stopped reading here for a while after some issues a. After looking at your work, it makes me remember all I've been missing. You have the most gorgeous writing style. And looking through my scrapbook of favorite poems, you take up the majority of it from works found here. Please, get something published. And if you already have, where can I buy it at? Wonderful job.
