"Ugh, no! I don't want to get up!" Ginny said as she slammed her hand down on the snooze button on her alarm clock. Ginny whined as she heard a knock on her door. "Come in."

Her older brother, Ron, walked in. "Oh, did I wake you? Sorry, I'll just go..."

"No, Ron, you didn't wake me up. It was this stupid alarm. Any ideas how to hex it?"

"Nope. Sorry." Ron grinned. "Oh, mum said to hurry up and get dressed, Harry's coming today."

"What? Why didn't you tell me!" Ginny jumped out of her bed and rushed across the room to her wardrobe. Ginny started flipping through her clothes.

"You still like him, don't you?" Ron asked teasingly.

"When did I tell you I liked him?" Ginny asked. She stepped back to fully look at him.

"Uh, never mind." Ron said quickly, blushing and sticking his hands in his pockets.

"RON!! Have you been reading my diary again?" Ginny scolded as she stepped toward him and forgot looking for something to wear.

"Uh, would you hate me if I said 'yes'?" Ron asked, slowly stepping backwards out of the room.

"Oh, you little..." And, leaving the clothes she had picked out to fall on the floor, Ginny flew across the room. Ron dashed down the hall just before she got to him. Ginny chased him all around the house, laughing the whole time. As they passed the kitchen for the fourth time, Ginny slowed down and went to the pantry and took out two apples. She rubbed them on her sleeve and gave Ron one and bit into the other as they both sat at the kitchen table.

"So, he's really coming, today?" Ginny asked, just to make sure.

"Yup, so is Hermione. So you won't be totally bored hanging out with us." Ron joked.

"Haha, you are so right. I can't wait." Ginny joked back. "When are they coming?"

"In about an hour. Hermione is waiting at her house as we speak and dad has already picked up Harry-are you okay?" Ron asked.

Ginny had choked on her apple when Ron had said, "In about an hour."

"I have to go get ready." Ginny dashed out of room, the apple just barely escaping falling on the floor.

Ginny rushed up the stairs and flung her door open. She ran over to her clothes and changed into them. Ginny then walked to her antique vanity set and picked up her brush. As she pulled the brush through her hair a couple times, she noticed a tiny red dot on her cheek, right next to her nose. Ginny leaned in closer and...
"ARGH!" Ginny screamed very loudly.

Her mum, Ron, Fred and George appeared at the doorway of her room.

"What happened?" Mrs. Weasley asked frantically.
"A spot! I've got a spot!" Ginny screamed, fiercely rubbing at it with her forefinger.

Fred and George laughed as a look of relief crossed Mrs. Weasley's face.

"That's just an experiment. A sweet we've been working on. For every new day, there's new acne." George explained. Fred nodded.
Ginny looked like she was going to kill everyone on this earth if the answer to the question she was about to ask wasn't what she wanted to hear. Frankly, it scared the twins so much, they took a step back in fear.

"Is there an antidote?" Ginny asked in a cold tone of voice.

"Well, yes and no. Yes being, yes we have one. And it does work. No being, it has a little side-effect." Fred explained, George being too scared to.

"What's the side-effect?" She asked in the same voice.
"Uh, well, it's a truth thing. See, it makes you tell the truth to everybody. You know, say, you like someone, you immediately tell that person how you feel the next time you see him or her. Or, say-" Fred was cut off.

"I GET IT!!" Ginny shrieked. Fred and George dashed back to their room. Ron stepped forward.

"What?" Ginny asked.

"Calm down. Harry and Hermione come in half an hour. There's plenty enough time for Fred and George to fix it."

Ron and Mrs. Weasley edged their way out of the room.

"How could I have been so stupid. I know better than to take anything from Fred and George. This never would've happened..." Ginny mumbled. Ten minutes later, Fred peeked his head in. Ginny was still sitting at her desk with her head in her hands.

"What do you want?" Ginny asked with a slight whine.

"Just to give you the antidote." Fred said. He walked over to her and put a bottle on her desk that was full of sky blue formula. He left the room, softly closing the door behind him.

Ginny stared at it as if it was going to bite her for a couple of seconds and then picked it up. On the side was a little piece of paper that read, "NEW AND IMPROVED ANTIDOTE". Ginny slowly lifted it to her lips and tipped it into her mouth.
'Nice refreshing taste. Blueberry flavor. Doesn't look that it will do anything bad.' She thought. When she had finished, she looked up to the mirror and saw it was gone! She felt where it had been and found completely smooth skin. Ginny shrieked in delight.
Ginny heard the doorbell ring. Ginny took a deep breath, smiled, and walked out of her room, down the stairs, and to the front door and opened it.

"Hi Ginny." Harry grinned at her.

"Hi, Harry." Ginny said, smiling. Still grinning, Harry walked past her to Ron, who had just walked into the room.

"Ginny!" Suddenly, someone was hugging Ginny as though she was going to disappear any minute.

"Okay, okay, Hermione. I'm glad to see you too." Ginny gasped. The bushy-haired girl stepped back, mumbling a quiet, "Sorry." Ginny grinned and gave her a giant bear hug which she returned.

"Oh, how touching. I think I'm going to cry." Ron pretended to wipe away a tear. Harry laughed as Ginny and Hermione gave him a death glare. Harry and Ron shot one back as Mr.Weasley squeezed inside. "Come on, Harry, you're sleeping in my room." Ron led Harry up the stairs and around the corner, obviously to his room.

"Hermione, you're sleeping in my room. Let's go." Ginny waved her hand in a gesture to follow her and went upstairs. At the top of the stairs, Ron peeked out of his room.

"Do you think the antidote has worked so far?" He whispered to Ginny. She nodded happily and he smiled and mouthed, "Good."

Ginny led Hermione to her room and opened the door. Hermione dropped her bags on the floor upon entering and glanced around. She nodded as if to say, "Great room."

"So, just unpack. There's your bed and dresser. There's a bathroom around here, and the wardrobe is over there." Ginny finished, pointing to everything in turn.

"Okay, thanks." Hermione unpacked her bags and filled up her dresser and what was left of the wardrobe. They headed out to the stairs but before they could go down, Ron and Harry burst out of the room, laughing. When they saw Ginny and Hermione, they stopped immediately.

"What was so funny?" Hermione asked suspiciously.

"Nothing. Nothing whatsoever." Harry answered, cracking up again in the middle of his sentence. Hermione glared at him while Ginny got this glazed look over her eyes. Harry noticed this and stopped laughing, a concerned look on his face. "What's wrong, Ginny?"

Ron and Hermione looked over at her and instantly grabbed her hands and dragged her back to her bed. Harry followed. Suddenly, Ginny started whispering words over and over again, really fast. Slowly but surely, the words clearer and louder. Eventually, the words became...

"I love you, I have ever since your first year. When we met you at Kings Cross, clueless about platform nine three-quarters. So cute. You're name is-" The rest was muffled because Ron had clapped his hand over her mouth. Suddenly, Ginny's eyes became clearer and, finding Ron's hand over her mouth, starting licking it. Ron pulled away his hand with an, "EW!"

"What happened?" Ginny asked, sitting up.

Hermione was grinning. "Well, you started rambling on and on about this person saying things like, 'I love you, I have ever since your first year. When we met you at Kings Cross.' Stuff like that."

Ginny looked horrified as she slowly turned to look at Harry. He looked confused. Ginny's heart sank to her feet as his face expression became clearer. He started smiling, then grinning, then asked a dreaded question.

"Who do you 'love' Ginny?"

"Um, nobody. No one at all." Then, before Ginny could control herself, the truth spilled out. "Except you." She slapped her hand to her forehead and disappeared inside the bathroom, locking herself inside.

“Ginny, come out of there.” Hermione called through the door.

"No, I'm never coming out." Ginny said, her voice muffled by the door.

"Ginny, come on. You can't stay in there for ever." Harry pointed out.

"Yes, I can. Just watch. Oh, and kill the twins for me, please?" Ginny told them.

"If you don't come out here right now, I'm going in there with you." Harry threatened lightly.

"Oh, fine." Ginny opened the door and sat back on her bed. Harry smiled and went to sit next to her.

"Ginny, liking Harry is not a shame. I'll bet you a lot of girls like him." Hermione comforted.

"Well, none of them just went through an embarrassing display of their affection." Ginny said sarcastically.

"Ginny?" Harry looked to her. Ginny looked up at him. He sealed the distance between them, giving her a short yet sweet kiss. Hermione and Ron grinned at each other and shook hands. Hermione mouthed, "Good work." Ron nodded and mouthed back, "You too."

You like it? Please tell me you do. You don't like? Tell me why you don't, I'll try to make it better next time.
