Relive

*the rhythme might seem a little off to you, cuz i wrote this with a tune in mind, just to warn you^-^*

As the sun disolves into the heat rays,
Clouds evaporate leaving mist behind,
You let out a sigh of relief,
Releasing an inconspicuous grief.

A little older,
A little wiser,
Never younger,
You can't relive.

Stars pop their heads out from under,
The velvet shroud that enfolds them,
Blanketing moonbeams with,
Heavens sky of bliss.

A little older,
A little wiser,
Never younger,
You can't relive.

Some days you wonder,
How you've been through,
All the days,
You lived in.

Maybe the stars will wink at you,
Or the moon reach out and touch,
The strands on your head.

But whenever I see you,
I know you've been chasing your dreams,
With the stars as your bed.

A little older,
A little wiser,
Never younger,
You can't......relive.
