Young Death
by Neb Tanner (Age: 18)
copyright 01-19-2007

Age Rating: 10 to 127

It was only last school year
That I saw you last
You were able to run, jump, sing and laugh
Though you seemed happy
I shouldn't have just passed

The day I found out
I almost cried
That was the day I found out
You took your own life

I sit and ask myself:Why?
You had alot of people that cared
You can believe me
Everyone cried and weeped
But you couldn't see

You had a great family to live for
A father and a mother that cared
And a sister as cute as can be
You had a wide range of friends
Unlike me

But there where also people that you think didn't care
The ones like me
Who sat there and cried
And tears fell on our knees

I know If you had another chioce
Then would you see
That there are people you love
And ones that you could love
The ones like me

Awwwww... this is a sad poem. I love the idea of this poem. You capture and portray your grief excellently. It's so sad when people do this to his or her self, when they don't even realize that people are here for them. One pointer to make this better. use more punctuation. It will help make the flow smoother and will help the reader understand the poem better. Otherwise, great job!
