An Unkown Half
by Emily Garwood (Age: 21)
copyright 11-29-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

You play and twist,
Turning what I say,
Into jokes and lies,
It's not me.

Come back to me,
But play me nicely,
I've been through your lies,
and I don't want them again.

You cheat me again,
I'm feeling down and used,
The knifes still waiting,
You know the problems inwaiting.

Blades red,
My angers blind,
Raging round,
Wondering what to do.

Many never saw the side,
The real me,
The unkown half,
What will they think?

They care,
and i'm being helped,
But i never asked,
Can't i figure it out myself?

I know what i'm doing,
I know who I am,
Let me cry and let me scream,
Then forget me, please.

No one will ever forget the feelings you arouse, with your poems. This is another sad poem about being hurt and left vulnerable. We don't want to be hurt yet we continue to go back to those that hurt us. Good write, Anthony
