I was wondering if anyone knows what the checked box that says "Save Cookie" means (it's the one that you see when you sign in). Just wondering!

The cookie contains your memberID and password. If you leave it at the default (checked) then that information is saved on your computer in a special file called a "cookie." When you come to the site the next time, the site asks to see your "cookie." It will then know you and you will not need to sign in.
If you are on a public computer, like at school, you would not want the cookie because it will be on the computer you are using. Then the site would think the next person to use that computer is you.
A cookie is an internet slang term for information you input into a site or a system. So your cookie will recognize when you begin typing your screen name and it will fill out the rest and your password. (<--I am such a geek)
