An FBI Visit...

It seems a few people have decided to carry things just as far as possible... might I add, I would like to thank those people. They have helped to clear my good name as well as that of Prose-n-Poetry.com

Today, Sepember 16, 2003, at about 12:00 p.m., I received a surprise visit by two FBI agents... They asked many questions and then asked for permission to search my computer. I signed their agreement and they searched using a special disk and program. After several hours of searching every nook and cranny of my computer, they pronounced the computer clean and left.

Interestingly enough, I called the very same agents several months ago and asked them to investigate the federal copyright violations (felonies) by Poetville member(s).... Quite apparently they couldn't find time...

Will this stop the wagging tongues? Perhaps, but I rather doubt it.

PnP IS and always has been devoted to child-safety. It will continue to be so.

This is exactly why I love this site. P-N-P has been very good to me and it does protect children. I once put an e-mail address on an e-mail sent to someone that was not 18. I did not do it to harm, but this is not approved. My e-mail was sent back without being delivered. I felt embarrased that I had mistakenly done that, but was even more impressed that the program stopped my mistake. I have gotten my son to join and will encourage more youths to join also because I know that they are safe here at P-N-P! Thanks again for this site, bob. I love it!, Anthony

From the sounds of things I dont think these two "FBI Agents" were who they say they were. Either that or they are hired pirvately. Oh well!

OH MY GOSH! I can't believe that happened. we all know that this site runs through safe email. I dont wanna lose PNP. Either does any of the other members.
