Well "Sailor Moon" is the leader in what our members choose for music.
I would like to develop that side of the site better and will be spending some time on this. I got a few suggestions from some members and I will likely incorporate some of them. I would like to see a forum accessible from her pages... one which will encourage young writers. If any of our members would like to help, please email me.
"Sailor Moon" was originally conceived by the japanese as a comic book character. The watercolor artwork (Manga) is just unbelievably beautiful! Just check out our Gallery and you will be forced to agree. She soon gained popularity, became a TV series and also has several movies. The Japanese has been translated into a few languages, most notably into English. However, not all of the TV series and I don't believe any of the movies have made English.
Beyond children though, she appeals to many adults. In some ways she resembles "Superman" for those who can remember this character. Besides being a super-hero, she incorporates every little girl's dream of being a Princess and having a dashing 'Prince Charming" (Darien) come to her rescue when needed. Appeals to children? Ha... even grown-up ladies often still believe in Prince Charming, so her appeal is universal. For the guys, who would not want to be a Prince and rescue the beautiful Princess??
So, how can you declare yourself as a "Moonatic"?? Just go to Edit your Profile and check the new box which asks if you are a "Moonatic"
(Incidentally, we have about 130 unique "Sailor Moon" midis in our playlist. I recently found about a hundred more and will be adding those as I can. I believe that will make this the largest collection of Sailor Moon Midis on the web, in addition to our having a unique midi player.)

I am a recent addition to the ranks, and I appreciate this site! But the point is: I read this and I am taking this opportunity to declare myself as a Moonatic! I also happen to count Ami as my favorite Sailor Scout, followed by Jupiter and Venus. Ami can be considered the thinking person's heroine, and that's the beauty of Sailor Moon: a heroine for everyone to identify with! Excellent article...

You think that this belongs in the poem section?
Anyway, it doesn't matter!
I'm a Moonatic!
I'm declaring myself!

Bob, my daughter is the Mooniac in my family and she watches the cartoons on a daily basis. She also has tons of music, not just from Sailor Moon, but from other Japanese animes. I must admit I enjoy quite a bit of the music, myself and can listen to it, hours on end.
Thanks for putting Sailor Moon and her buddies on this site.

Bob, I am probably one of the most obsessed Moonatics you will ever run across. I have almost every Pocket Mixx by Girl Comix, all three movies and I'm getting them in subtitled, my own private gallery of over three hundred images, and I am almost exactly like Sailor Uranus...blood type and all! *Yes, she does know that....which is scary* I was born on the same day and everything...odd, ne? I am deffinitly a Moonatic, and have been since Sailor Moon first came out in America nearly seven years ago on WB.
Forever,
~Yuushi-chan~
