Our Love
by Jack Curson (Age: 32)
copyright 07-12-2006

Age Rating: 7 to 127

She stares deep into his eyes as tears run down their cheeks.
Statuesque as her beauty never fades.
Her heart races faster as she pulls him closer and their lips join showing the sadness,
Knowing that they will stay as on united from the very beginning of time.
Angels have been sent from above to guard these two lovers journey.
Their strength burns like the flame a top a candle in the darkest part of a room,
Their love mesmerizing like starring into that same burning flame.
They are one in their own; flying high above the troubles of the world,
As beautiful and as loving as the peaceful dove that flies overhead at dawn.
A love so never ending, that their hearts have become one.
Such a bright future for these two lovers, how they wish to be side by side till the end of time,
So the angels of heaven have given the lover’s eternity.
Even eternity is not enough, for the feelings they have for each other.
So many dreams to fulfill, so many questions run through their minds and in their hearts they know all.

“Till the end of time,” He says, as tears run down their cheeks.
She says, “No, for all eternity my love, for all eternity!”

(They embrace)

(Rising higher and higher into a place such as heaven)

Is it another dream, no not at all, their dreams are being fulfilled by a greater force.
All they have to do is have faith.

The master of the romantic poets. Glad to see you again, Jack. You're not out here enough.

This piece is so beautiful it leaves me with a longing to experience what you have written.
Although though your poem, I have just come close.

Bravo,

Rich

Time and heart stay in place, mind plays with faith, prayer takes form and shape, as a passing of age, earth and well being kept to revove in mental images held, hope andlove the last of memory... Peace be in your work..... Walt

The use of the words "angels" and "heaven"
sound quite similar to the christian/islam
view on the afterlife.
But i also love anything related to pleasure or
love.

In the 4th line did you meen, "Knowing that they will stay as "One" united from the very beginning of time. This is a very romantic piece and it flows well. Your use of words is wonderful and you have caught a glimps of the feeling of love! Thanks, Anthony

I agree, this is sort of a prose poem, sounding like a part of a play at the same time. I'm not sure how I respond emotionally to it yet.

Beautiful form, and wonderful work. It is amazing to find such love as that.
