Once there was a student teacher

Friday, clock making to damn much noise, bounce that sucker off the wall. Late again, just closed my eyes, pants on, sweat shirt, keys wallet, fire that baby up, hit the road.

Lean on horn, Rudy, and Lips piling in. Heading down the highway looking for adventure, we are going to be grade school teachers? Teachers College,
parking lot, free throws, big game tonight, late for class again, still.

Who did my homework for me, four offers, take closest one, instructor (known as Bear, Mrs. Bear) asks silly question, start long line of BS, everyone laughs, sent to Dean’s office. Fix his car, excused from classes rest of day. Shoot free throws; keep two other guys from going to class.

Practice, same old stuff, only nine guys, one of the cheer leaders fills in for scrimmage, coach will play tonight.

Talk five girls into coming to game, get our butts kicked by local high school team.

Hit the teen bar, PBR up close and personal. Leave early, practice teach in the A.M. Model school at the college.

Give one of the girls a ride home, invited to a late supper.
Her dad has a card game going, play sheeps head until two in the morning, still have to complete lesson plan.

Saturday bounce clock off wall, hate school on weekends. Not as much as "grade schoolers", ah the joys of summer school.
