Inside Mother Nature's Dressing Room
by Janet Owenby
copyright 09-20-2003

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Mother nature peacefully slumbers tonight,
wrapped in comfortable blankets of white.
She snores Winter breezes of arctic air,
underneath pale moonlight's silvery glare.

Seasons quickly change and she arouses,
adorned in blossomy-colored blouses.
Sunrays blush her cheeks with a crimson glow,
and releases icy rivulet's flow.

Clothed in umber and emerald dresses,
she brushes her brilliant burnished tresses.
Sleeveless camisole of hidden desire,
exposes her passionate Summer fire.

Mother Nature wears Autumn's majestic crown,
and slips on her colorful ballroom gown.
In exquisite vestures she was attired,
until her chromatic costume expired.

Her naked reflection stands on display,
when her cloak is suddenly stripped away.
