Fall
by Melissa Andersson (Age: 19)
copyright 10-16-2003

Age Rating: 1 to 127

There comes a time
Every year
That everyone
Holds near and dear

When summer edges into fall
Vacation turns to school
The weather changes too
From hot and warm to cool

The colors are the pretty things
The way the leaves turn red
Oranges,yellows,and purples too
Create a leafy bed

You can pull out a jacket once again
And cuddle up within
A chance to get to better know
Your friends and all your kin

Smells of spice and everything nice
Tastes of pumpkins,pecans,and pies
Looking on fall with joy and love
Savoring its gorgeous crimson skies
