This is a terrible poem, but I wrote it in 5th grade. I believe I am much better now!
Honorary, vain, for he is the King, and I
the Queen, and in the shadows the
Princess, fair, eligible to all princes
accepted, Wanted, Wild Bill, caught in
the vacinity, disguised, despised, but
Princess’ Prince for he, King to be, could it
be, also in the shadows, but he?

I can relate this to my grandchildren. At the wize old age to be in the fifth grade...I'd say you did very well. Thanks, Anthony

Hey, you wrote this is grade 5? I know it is somewhat confusing, but it shows there was a lot of raw poetic matter in your head, which just needed some maturity to master.

I would never have even tried to write a poem when I was in grade 5, in fact I just started writing poetry in 2004, and I'm 54 years old.

Way to go, girl!

David Pekrul
